It doesn't matter who you are or what you've done--God wants you. It's time to throw off everything that hinders and pursue what truly matters: life with Jesus.

Growing up the son of a preacher--a traveling evangelist who was an upright man behind the pulpit and a violent husband at home--Stephen McWhirter wanted nothing to do with Christianity. This darkness led to eleven years of rebellion, addiction, and brokenness. He sought escape through anything the world could offer: drugs, alcohol, theft, pornography, entertainment. He carried so much pain that he cussed people out if they even mentioned Jesus's name.

But late one night, as Stephen sat in bed reading a Christian book with drugs on the table next to him, God got hold of his heart. As he read, Stephen was acutely aware of the presence of God. The Lord impressed upon Stephen that he was real, he was good, and he had a purpose for Stephen's life.

In Radically Restored, Stephen shares how his family trauma and self-inflicted pain gave way to finding a place of purpose and mission as a son of God, first and foremost, and then as a worship leader who now shares Jesus with the world. His testimony and encouragement will help you:

• Find effective ways to confront and heal from past trauma and brokenness
• Understand just how far God will go to save you
• Truly understand the power of God's forgiveness
• Learn to see yourself as a true son or daughter of God
• Experience what it means to be fully alive

Finding God in the messiness of life is just the start. Accepting who you are and what God has made you for is your purpose. See through Stephen's journey that miracles still happen; peace is possible; and no matter what, God loves you, and he is for you.

Over twenty years ago, Stephen McWhirter was a meth addict and wounded preacher’s kid who had a radical encounter with Jesus. Today, he travels the world leading worship, sharing his testimony, and seeing many people come to Christ. His song “Come Jesus Come,” which has amassed over one hundred million views and streams across platforms, has been performed by CeCe Winans on American Idol and recorded by Winans with gospel legend Shirley Caesar, by country music artist Cody Johnson, and in Spanish by Christine D’Clario. With the momentum from “Come Jesus Come,” Stephen started going live on social media and traveling all over the world worshiping Jesus and sharing his testimony. Today, Stephen is an artist and writer with Capitol Christian Music Group and Re:think Music.

Stephen is married to Tara and has three growing redheaded boys. They live in Louisville, Kentucky, and are unswervingly committed to worshiping Jesus and leading others to him.
