Neuware - 'The Redemptorist' provides an insightful and dedicated exploration into the history, mission, and spiritual charism of the Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer. As a religious order founded by Saint Alphonsus Liguori, the Redemptorists have long been committed to serving the spiritual needs of the poor and the most abandoned. This work delves into the foundational principles that guide the congregation, examining the rigorous devotion and missionary zeal that characterize its members.Written with the perspective of an insider, George Stebbing offers a comprehensive view of the challenges and triumphs faced by the order as it expanded its reach across different continents. The narrative focuses on the spiritual life within the community, the theological contributions of its most prominent figures, and the practical application of their ministry in various social contexts. Readers will discover the profound legacy of Saint Alphonsus and how his vision for a life of service continues to influence contemporary religious practice. This volume serves as an essential resource for those interested in the history of Catholic religious orders, the evolution of Christian missions, and the enduring impact of the Redemptorist tradition on global Christianity. This work has been selected by scholars as being culturally important, and is part of the knowledge base of civilization as we know it.
