Eine X-Band-Mikrostreifen-Reflektarray-Antenne mit linearer Polarisation und einem steuerbaren Abstrahlwinkel von bis zu 16° wurde entworfen, hergestellt und vermessen. Die Einheitszelle besteht aus einem Mikrostreifen-Patch auf der oberen Schicht und einem Schlitz variabler Länge in der Grundplatte. Die entworfene Einheitszelle mit den Abmessungen 15 mm x 15 mm bietet einen Reflexionsphasenbereich von 153°. Die Anordnung besteht aus 64 Elementen mit unterschiedlichen Reflexionskoeffizienten in Form einer planaren Anordnung. Ein Prototyp des Reflektarrays wurde in einer Fernfeld-Echokammer an der NUST vermessen und ergab einen Gewinn von 14 dB und ein Axialverhältnis von >20 dB bei einer Betriebsfrequenz von 10 GHz.
