Fiber reinforced polymer (FRP) composites are increasingly used to repair and extend the service life of ageing or damaged infrastructure, including metallic structures. This important book summarizes key recent research in this area. The editor and expert contributors look at the use of FRP composites to repair components, ways of assessing the durability and fatigue life of components, and applications of FRP to infrastructure-such as steel bridges.
