The third installment of People of Faith is an experiment between Jo Bower and Alessandra Reilly. Jo writes her devotional as usual, borrowing the poetic format, with scripture references. Alessandra is a poet and sees the world differently than Jo. They have combined their talents to create a unique combination of devotionals, views, poems and lyrics about the same scripture and subject.

"This experiment is an illustration of what we hope happens in your lives as you read devotional material. It is an experiment in unity as I (Jo), have always been part of Wesleyan-tradition denominations, and Alessandra has always been Catholic. We are pleasantly surprised at how often we agree, and are not surprised about where we differ. However, we are closer in belief than either of our traditions historically say we should be. We both have grown in our relationships with God and people. For that we are grateful. May this experiment begin a new growth period in your life." --Jo Bower
