Aggiungere al carrello1968, 262 pages, pub - Frank Cass, Hardback, not xlib. This is a reprint of a parliamentary 'blue book' - a report which was first printed for the House of Commons in 1840. Frank Cass gave it a second outing because it is replete with the horrific details of Britain's first industrial cities. It takes the form of evidence given in question-and-answer form in front of a committee - almost fifty witnesses were called. Detailed index compiled for the original edition. No illus. A larger format book which follows the 1840 printing- small folio, 13 x 8.5 ins. Condition: sound and clean - dark blue cloth without stains; a nice copy.
