The book contains twelve research papers in Open Channel Hydraulics. The relationship between different roughness parameters has been discussed. The characteristics of roughness materials and the properties of intermediate scale roughness and large scale roughness are emphasized. We observe that roughness materials are advantageous from the point of view of more mean depth of flow which will be used for irrigation and water distribution purpose. Also, the high velocity of flow is reduced to get the permissible value of velocity and erosion is prevented.
