BOOK TWO: THE RETURN OF THE KA AND THE MENDING OF THE SUfollows each character's personal journey into wholeness. A spiritual, fantasy adventure about the web of beliefs we weave and how reality bends to those beliefs. A novel about beauty amidst brokenness, soul healing, and the true meaning of peace.
Trapped in a shaman’s cavern filled with the smoke of dark magic, Temple Fox must find the strength and courage to fulfill his spiritual obligations as one of the True Teachers. His beloved, Losha, finds her own power ripen as she takes center stage helping Temple and their friends devise a plan to escape. But danger lies behind a megalithic stone door – the only exit – where a band of armed Rebels believe Shaman Mefakani to be the True Teacher. The Rebels expect Mefakani to leave his chambers with the head of Temple Fox, proclaiming victory over the white Wizard. But the Shaman is a changed man now.
Bitter emotions toward Mefakani runs high. Can Temple and his friends trust him to help everyone escape unscathed? Can they prevent a civil war between Believers and Unbelievers? Will all the Kas, Mefakani had stolen from the Makolese people, be returned? Most importantly, will the lifeforce on the island ever be restored?
Book Two from the Trilogy: THE LAST SCROLL by PATRICIA S. CHRISTY
REVIEWS"With the broad brushstrokes of a master storyteller, Christy offers her much-awaited second book of the trilogy, The Last Scroll. A page-turner, just like Book One, Book Two weaves an epic story of a magical cast of characters including a reformed evil Shaman Priest, armed rebels, a blood-thirsty Queen, and True Teachers who can spin into a magnificent swan or owl. The spiritual teachings are interwoven with the storyline, emphasizing a message of “Equality…of everyone having freewill to do great things by exhibiting true compassion in all circumstances.” And a quote that speaks directly to today’s challenges: “You can tell the spiritual depth and the intelligence of not just one person but an entire culture by how they treat women, children, the land, the water, and animals."Truly a parable for our time, this book gives much to think about and use on your spiritual journey. Highly recommended."~ Marina Raye/Recording Artist"Christy pulls together the highs and lows of the Ancient past, the tribal indigenous, along with the far-reaching mechanics of modernity by way of humanity's vehicle for centering - that magical place called NOW - the beachfront of the Living-present connecting the Sacred Lands with the Holy Waters. Christy operates at this junction as the Shaman intermediary delineating the balance of the beings/creatures with their surroundings, each with its part to play, just like the growing of grapes with their terroir: the alchemical wedding; while all along the way she gives important reminders, "don't put negative energy on the things that you fear; keep on focusing to manifest the most harmonious outcomes; and when needs be, forgive yourself and go on to do better." What a whirlwind of wonder and wisdom!"~ Peruvio/Artist/Poet/Musician

It was from that point on that she knowingly interacted with those in the invisible realms. It would be accurate to say that she is a resident on this Earthly plane, but also resides in other places beyond fractured, focused Time. Call her a traveler, but one whose passport has been temporarily confiscated.
CHRISTY holds a BFA, cum laude, from the Maryland Institute, College of Art and is versed in some of the Healing Arts. She presently works as a Spiritual Counselor.
