Ann Langston is an Early Years specialist, company director of Early Years Matters, conference speaker and trainer who has widely written on effective practice in the Early Years. She is passionate about improving outcomes for young children through working with adults whose decisions impact their lives. Ann has contributed significantly to both of the nationally devised framework for under-fives in England since 2002: the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and the Birth to three matters framework. She has also written for Early Years publications such as Nursery World and the Early Years Educator and has contributed to journals and chapters in a number of Early Years books.
Ann is an early years specialist, conference speaker and trainer who has written widely on effective practice in the early years. She is passionate about improving outcomes for young children through working with adults whose decisions impact their lives. Ann has a wealth of knowledge and expertise about early years issues and the early years sector. Previously a National Strategies Regional Adviser working with senior leaders and managers in local authorities, schools and settings and with partner organisations, Jonathan was the Every Child a Talker lead in the North West and part of the national ECAT advisory group. He has worked directly with settings across the private, voluntary and independent sectors advising on children's language development and contributed to the Communication and Early Language Strategy of a number of local authorities.
