He was worked at the Fort MacArthur Museum, and Nike missile post in Los Angeles for 10 years, and is a past chairman of the Coast Defense Study Group (CDSG). He is a research chemist at the Department of Agriculture&#39;s Agricultural Research Service. He lives in Peoria, Illinois. <b>Mark L. Morgan </b>developed an interest in Cold War systems and operations during the early 1980s. A member of a multitude of professional and history organizations, Mark has authored two other books besides Rings of Supersonic Steel including a history of his old airplane, the Grumman A-6 Intruder. He lives in St. Louis, Missouri.</div>
