Im Anschluss an zwei handwerkliche Ausbildungen studierte Torsten Moench Elektrotechnik an der HAW-Hamburg.Es folgten ein Volontariat und knapp 10 Jahre Arbeit als Redakteur beim Delius-Klasing Verlag. Seit 2003 ist Moench Chefredakteur des führenden europäischen Motorboot-Magazins BOOTE.
Britta Flöring hat Germanistik und Anglistik an der TU Braunschweig studiert, lebt in Lüneburg und arbeitet als Lehrerin, Lehrbeauftrage der Leuphana Universität, als freie Autorin und Fotografin.
