Paperback. Saint Joseph: Man Of Faith 978-1-937913-94-6 St. Joseph: Man Of Faith by Jacques Gauthier and translated by Rev. Msgr. C. Anthony Ziccardi, S.S.L, . S.T. D., is a beautiful little book which explores the life of the greatest male Saint, St. Joseph, a husband, father and worker. St. Joseph, the earthly father of Jesus and husband of Mary, is a shining example of faith, trust, and obedience to God. Though the Bible does not record any of his words, his actions speak volumes about his deep faith and unwavering devotion. From the author's Introduction: "Though the role of St. Joseph is limited in the New Testament, his function is not insignificant in the plan of God. He is recalled briefly in the Gospels of Luke and Matthew: the birth of Jesus in Bethlehem, the visit of the king-astrologers, the flight into Egypt, the Presentation in the Temple, and life in Nazareth. I will focus on these excerpts of the New Testament in order to sketch the most accurate portrait possible of Joseph. I shall also speak of his veneration, which developed slowly throughout history and which has seen a renewal since the 20th century. I will conclude with some prayers that will awaken our contemplative glance on this great Saint, the Patron of the Church and of workers, whom we celebrate with solemnity on March 19." Among the features of this book are: Sturdy flexible softcover Size 3-3/8" x 5-3/4" Durably sewn binding High-quality paper Informative information on the life of St. Joseph Conveniently sized to accommodate nightstand or purse Nihil Obstat Imprimatur Visit our website for more spiritual resources and Bibles Chapter Titles: The Spouse of Mary The Humble Servant of the Lord The Foster Father of Jesus The Carpenter of Nazareth The Hidden Life Prayerful Devotion to Saint Joseph Appendix: Praying to St. Joseph Litanies Novenas Prayers to St. Joseph Benefits of a compact book Portability - A small, compact book is easy to carry, making it convenient for travel, commuting, or reading on the go. Accessibility - Its size allows for quick reference, whether for study, prayer, or casual reading, without the bulk of a larger volume. Discreetness - A compact book can be read in public or private without drawing much attention, making it ideal for personal reflection or study. Durability - Smaller books often have sturdier bindings and covers, allowing them to withstand frequent handling and travel. Efficiency - Concise and well-organized content ensures that the reader gets essential information without unnecessary bulk, making learning or devotion more focused and effective. Joseph's faith was further tested when he was warned in another dream to flee to Egypt with Mary and Jesus to escape King Herod's wrath. Without hesitation, he left everything behind to keep them safe, proving his faith through action. As a carpenter, Joseph lived a humble life, providing for his family through honest work. He taught Jesus by example, showing him the value of hard work, humility, and faith in God. St. Joseph's life teaches us that true faith is not just about words but about trusting God's will and acting upon it with love and courage. He remains a powerful model of faith and a protector for all who seek to follow God's path. Shipping may be from multiple locations in the US or from the UK, depending on stock availability.…
