Paperback. You have to be brave enough to listen to the fire that burns inside you.Don't be afraid of losing what you have: what you love stays with you always, a companion wherever the road takes you. And if the road wills it, it will bring you back but with different eyes. This is the lesson that rises from a story of transformation and letting go. Part epic tale of a long journey, part story of inner becoming, Saudade follows a young man with the courage to leave his safe harbor, driven by a need too powerful to be ignored. At its center is Leo a young fisherman from Sardinia, set adrift by an inexplicable fire within him and by an encounter that shatters everything he thought he knew. He leaves behind all that is familiar to chase an unknown horizon. Across storm-ridden seas, forgotten cities, and wild, uncharted lands, he will travel a road that transforms him - from a man running away into one searching for something, from a boy uncertain of himself into a man. And it is on this journey that Leo will find extraordinary companions, discover astonishing cultures, and learn lessons no harbor could ever have taught him. He will come to understand that beyond the horizon lies a world waiting to be lived and that the horizon itself, if you want it badly enough, can be reached, and then pushed a little further still. The mirage here is no longer merely a place on a map. It is the arrival at an inner peace. An odyssey in which discovering who we are means first learning to accept ourselves without limits, without fear. Where the real journey begins only when we stop being in a hurry to arrive.
