Descrizione dell’articolo da parte del venditore

Later printing. Volume 1 only (of two). 16mo. 485, [16 ads] pp. This copy belonged to African-American veteran, professional photographer, and Prince Hall 32nd Degree Mason James Lonnie Wasson, with his owner stamp ("Wasson Portland Oregon") on each of the front endleaves. Binding with modest general wear and a bit of soil, pages and spine lightly tanned, very good and sound. With 16 pages of ads for other secret society rituals bound in the rear. Uncommon, and with an excellent association: a poster advertising a 2016 talk about Wasson's life, given by the Oregon Historical Society, calls him "a true renaissance man of pre-WWII Portland.".
