Aggiungere al carrelloA reprise of a book published in England in 1967 that never was sold to the pubic with all 275 copies being published by Bodley Head, London, to be given as gifts. This book is an unnumbered limited edition of 1,000 copies published by Battledore, New York, and the Society of Illustrators which has been sold to the public. The original 1967 book was the result of Sendak's inspiration after he survived a heart attack while in England as a means of thanking the woman, Ms. Taylor, whose quick action getting Sendak to a hospital saved his life. This release was tied to an Exhibition and Sale at the Society of Illustrators in New York of Sendak's works from the book held in 2018. Included with Blake's illustrations are seven ink drawings and 22 pencil sketches of Maurice Sendak. Issued without a dust jacket.
