The World of Sentiria
The Sentirians originate from a planet named Sentiria, which orbits a stable, golden sun called Elyndra, located 27 light-years away from Earth. Their homeworld exists in a perfect "Goldilocks" habitability zone, resulting in a balanced, highly integrated ecosystem. The surface features organic and crystalline architectures nestled against mineral-rich mountain ranges, reflecting a civilization that seeks harmony with nature rather than dominion over it.
Physiology and Biological Powers
Sentirians are massive beings, standing between three and four meters tall. They possess translucent skin that emits a rhythmic, photonic luminescence shifting between sapphire, emerald, and gold, which they use for intra-species communication, emotional marking, and cellular healing. Their skeletal systems contain crystalline biometallic compounds that allow them to dynamically modulate their physical density—enabling weightlessness in zero gravity. Most notably, they possess advanced telekinetic and telepathic faculties rooted in neuro-crystalline structures along their spinal columns, enabling a networked consciousness and direct mental control over matter.
Antimatter Gasoline and Post-Scarcity
The bedrock of Sentirian society is "antimatter gasoline," a clean, infinitely renewable quantum energy source. Controlled and contained via precise telekinetic resonance fields rather than purely mechanical means, this fuel powers their transport fleets, global energy grids, and molecular medical technologies. This absolute energy abundance has erased resource competition, class distinctions, and social hierarchies on Sentiria, fostering an egalitarian culture built on collective consensus.
Silent Guardianship and Arrival
For centuries, the Sentirians acted as invisible sentinels over Earth. Bound by a strict code of non-interference, they observed human history, art, and emotion from the shadows. They even performed acts of quiet benevolence, such as shifting orbital space debris to shield Earth from catastrophic asteroid collisions.
Their silent watch ends abruptly on the morning of April 14, 2030, when their colossal, unmarked, iridescent spacecraft descend silently over Central Park in New York City. The arrival freezes the frantic city in a collective, awestruck hush (p. 40). While the appearance of the ships triggers massive global anxiety, political gridlock at the UN, and fear of annihilation, the Sentirians extend a peace offering rather than a threat.
The Human Response and Legacy
Using quantum linguistic translator devices calibrated to human neural interfaces, the Sentirians introduce humanity to advanced technologies, medical solutions, and the secrets of antimatter fuel. The book follows a diverse cast of humans—including a visionary president, a brilliant scientist, a skeptical journalist, and a passionate activist—as they navigate the friction between hope and resistance. Ultimately, the Sentirians challenge humanity to outgrow its self-imposed limitations, transcend resource scarcity, and reshape its global civilization using ethics, empathy, and universal collaboration as its new bedrock.

Descrizione dello Store
We first started out as “The Paperback Exchange,” a chain of physical bookstores where we would part exchange your beloved books for new stories to transport you to faraway places. However, as shopping started to evolve to online shops and marketplaces, we bid our stores goodbye to become “PBShop.” This transition has only allowed us to blossom as we now ship thousands of titles to book lovers across the globe. We pride ourselves in being a community of local book lovers which allows our passion and devotion to shine in everything we do. In 2020 we not only celebrated our 20th birthday but our 1st birthday as being completely employee owned after becoming an E.O.T in September 2019. We are proud to be different and embrace standing apart on a book mountain by working from a virtual inventory which allows us to provide thousands of books that may be difficult to get for your bookshelf or your studies. Working with a number of different suppliers allows us to explore other avenues such as puzzles, sheet music and even stationery so we really do have something for everyone. Life is about being versatile in all realms of existence. If this is your first visit or you are a returning customer, we would like to welcome you to the PBShop family, for there is no friend as loyal as a book.
