Gala Fur, author and protagonist of Sessions, Confessions of a Left Bank Dominatrix, describes how her life has been sustained by BDSM erotic games for years. In the first part of her Confessions, the thirteen astonishing sessions she has chosen to recount are stunningly real. In the second part of the book, Souvenirs of a Left Bank Dominatrix, we discover the Paris “Scene” and the crazy fetish parties in Paris and London…. And we explore in detail the ups and downs of Gala’s wide range of sadomasochistic relationships, making it quite an intimate tale, punctuated by thrilling adventures. Described with youthful humour and a touch of cynicism, the meanderings of her ambiguous love/hate affairs with her submissive lovers are quite extravagant, as are her encounters with some funny subs: for once, reality is stronger than fiction. Since their publication in French some twenty years ago, the two books brought together here have acquired a cult status in France under the titles Les Soirées de Gala and Séances.
