Most people recognize Sigrid Olsen from the fashion label she launched years ago. Her career, which has spanned over three decades, is still a huge part of who she is and how she defines herself. Yet now, it’s integrated into a lifestyle that embraces the profound life lessons that have propelled her to where she is today. The catastrophes that took her out of her comfort zone gave her the impetus to redesign her life, and she’s sharing her experiences for the first time in this one-of-a-kind memoir. After multiple, major upheavals that left her gasping for air, Sigrid did what any burned-out, former-hippie, fashion executive would do…she packed a bikini and some art supplies and went to the beach. On the eastern shore of Tulum, Mexico, she reconnected with a long dormant yoga practice and lost herself in meditation until the layers of stress peeled away and she could breathe again. As Sigrid says about life: “That’s why they call it a practice!” And as Jane Pauley says in the Foreword: “Sigrid [wasn’t] ‘forced into retirement’, she was ‘forced into ‘reinvention’.” PRAISE FOR SIGRID OLSEN: “Sigrid Olsen is that rare person who lives a life of creativity and entrepreneurship in seeming perfect harmony.
