CHAPTER 1
The Subconscious Becomes Our Loyal Friend
The day we understand the purpose of the mind, we seek less guidance from other people and grow more confident to ask of the true self. There is an art in knowing how to ask oneself the right question. You will find there are always multiple questions hiding within the one. This is the major cause of not receiving the answer you are looking for.
The rational mind's understanding has only what it is trained to think. Imagine being in the fifteenth century and sailing the unknown oceans on some beautiful old ships. Most of the sailors were limited in knowledge other then what they already had in those times. The knowledge we all have now grew from those centuries of many ocean voyages. For many years, a lot of parallel teachings of wisdom were used from the experiences these people had. Some examples are navigating through life, being blown off your course, experiencing turbulent waters, and ships sailing in calm waters. Our knowledge has advanced, but we all still have to navigate our lives and emotions.
We are all continually making decisions to adapt to the changes brought about by globalisation, such as training for new employment or seeking our own niche lifestyles in which we can be content. We are all learning new skills just by adapting to our everyday lives being interconnected through the web.
Now is the time for everyone to know that the mind is different from what it has been used for and that many people are already managing their own minds. Understanding will give the first glimpse of the invisible self, who is seeking direction during any uncertain times. A spark will be ignited so that one may know more than being happy. The answers are there to reinvent yourself and embrace all changes as your freedom of purpose in this life. Our physical identification with body and our surroundings are the illusory barriers we are breaking through.
Let us start with the physical reasoning mind — the one we use during our awakened hours. We see all as physical and real. This reasoning mind suggests that all is solid, including our beliefs. There is a clear observation of the physical mind's limitations when the answers we probe for are not there. To move beyond these limitations, understanding is required to know there are no fences between the physical, the subconscious, and the higher mind. They all intermingle, flowing nonstop.
The answers for your own best outcome to any question will flow in once you realise you are not your physical mind. You are the one who sees that the physical mind has limitations. The answers are always flowing in from beyond the physical mind, but remember: beyond the physical, all takes on a nonphysical form. So your question is as real as stubbing your toe, but your answer will not be as solid as you might be accustomed to. The answers given from beyond the physical mind are preferences for you to choose from. This is your life to choose; you are not to be told what you are to do. Until you become brave enough to trust your choice of preference being presented to you, the answer will continue to be beyond solid proof.
When we spend our lives identifying only with the physical part of the mind, we miss out on the valuable guidance that comes from our subconscious and the higher mind. By exploring in the future, you will be able to identify yourself as the watcher over the mind. And you will be able to separate any questions of uncertainty in your life, such as those regarding your career or lifestyle, into recognisable fragments to overcome and thus arrive at the clarity you wish to receive.
The subconscious mind has way more to offer us than what has ever been used before. At first it becomes our greatest teacher by showing us behind the scenes exactly how our life looks. Then the wisdom sets in to compel us to start using this facility in every moment of our life.
Before we look into the subconscious and the greater mind's genius, we must first recognise how our minds are made up of segmented images. Each segment is either in an image of thought or a frame of thought. These segments also include the emotion of the thought. We can play each segment of thought as long as we keep focus on that frame of thought. But mostly all thoughts are of a continual flowing motion, and the segmented nature is hidden from our awareness.
When we remember a night-time dream and write down each segment of the dream while it is still fresh in the mind, this shows how each image being played in the subconscious is a segmented scene. Each scene is free from the physical distractions of daily life, which gives us the illusion of a continually flowing reality. Once we notice this, it is easy to see that the same segmented nature exists during our daily lives. We add physical elements to the in-between moments, and it seems to be a continually flowing reality. Once each scene stands on its own, the scenes are revealed as individual probabilities.
The subconscious mind is our loyal friend, well trained in all our repetitive actions. Everything we do without even thinking — such as walking and swimming or even playing a guitar — is all done on auto pilot. There was a day when we first placed the belief that we could perform these actions into our subconscious.
When we submerse into full subconsciousness in the sleeping state, our daily sentiments are reflected in our dreams. The strange scenes created are produced from how we feel regarding our daily attitudes. To unravel any messages received in a dream, we must first identify our true feelings being played out in the dream.
The subconscious is our real world that we have created from the true unseen self. It is all the things we do automatically. It is all the messages received in the form of feelings. It is where we place belief while imagining. At first, we do not quite know what an amazing capacity we have to force our physical world to bond with our chosen creation of our life.
All images are brief in the subconscious world. The reality enjoyed by the true self is how we feel about all images and thoughts. The enforcement from this world is that our feelings and beliefs are the principal creators; this results in the solidity within our subconscious world. The belief in the physical must be transformed into a different substance of solidity for anything in this world.
This understanding opens the free-flowing energy, both ways, to the physical and the greater mind. The simultaneous flow of projecting and receiving on both levels of each world is created in the subconscious. This is where our expansion of understanding is being changed to now use the mind's capacity for its greater purpose. For those who are changing their lifestyles, this is where it all starts. We are comfortable with imagining and feeling good about our wishes, be they for the perfect career or freedom from debt. But most people are not aware that this time spent imagining is a real world. The substance that this world is made of is never spoken of other than as energy. All is energy in both worlds, and both worlds need to be seen as truth.
CHAPTER 2
The Magnitude of the Greater Mind Can Be Proven Only to Yourself
The greater mind is the suggestion of expansion and infinity, otherwise referred to as the higher consciousness. This also gives the suggestion of a higher, finer frequency. To give a picture of the magnitude of this greater mind, it is best described as perfect, complete, and absolute. These words all have the same meaning. We receive from the greater mind all our inspirational ideas, intuition, and guidance. There are no polarities in this greater mind; it is formed completely and absolutely perfect.
The physical mind is capable of understanding this even with all its polarities of positive and negative beliefs, which cause all limitations. The misguided belief of good and bad is what creates unnecessary suffering. People will naturally try to find the positive in most situations to relieve suffering.
To enable the reasoning mind to level-headedly understand this magnitude, picture everything that has ever passed through your life from birth to now in a flowing motion. From thoughts of experiences to the changes in your body, you see everything moving through your mind. Everything is moving through our lives segment by segment. At any moment, life seems exactly how you see it, until the awareness of this moving current sets in. If we look now at the magnitude of the greater mind and focus on how all things are continually moving, we can let go of attachment to any present situation and allow our future to arrive differently. It is only our focus and our beliefs that hold tight as attachments to all things in our lives.
You can prove the magnitude of the greater mind only to yourself. The first step in understanding knows each physical moment is in a current, always changing and never permanent, yet bonding by attraction to our subconscious. This bonding attraction is the sentiment of our views, and this is all there is to allow the opening of mind to receive more awareness of the greater mind. Our sentiments are our feelings and also our attitudes.
As we become practiced in looking out from the true self, being the watcher, our guidance system will open up through the moving mind. This guidance system is the essence of our own nature or blueprint within the greater mind. Each person has a certain nature: a blueprint of all they feel love for — all interests they are drawn to by their love for them. These are the naturally matching vibrations of love and interest.
Once we have excited this expansion, the probability of new understandings multiplies with each contemplating moment and in our first morning thoughts. When our minds are refreshed in the mornings, we are open to receive a larger point of view from the first thoughts we have. This is an example of receiving the proof within oneself. Recognising one new understanding opens the ability to simultaneously see three new comprehensions, making short work of untangling our own doubts and fears.
CHAPTER 3
Bringing the Three Realms Together as One
In this section, we will move among the physical world and our perception from our physical mind. We will also move among the greater mind of choices and our own individual subconscious, where we create. The purpose of moving among the three subjects is to show that these three are all in one. Each subject is equally amazing and is a gift of this life with which we can move by will, via the mind, and confidently know where we are receiving our thoughts or ideas from.
First we will step into the natural state of the physical world, which our body and life are made of. We cannot deny the complexity this natural order provides for every living cell with water, air, fire, and earth elements. So when we look at the physical world when it is left alone to do its own work, all is perfectly provided by the law of nature; the natural state of physical life is all perfect.
If we place ourselves into a picture of a national park with undeniable beauty, this is us moving into the physical world, standing together with an ant and a waterfall. So this law of nature where all is created, of all qualities and quantities, exists within us. We are made of cells, and all cells have the free choice of natural selection in the evolution of this physical world. Each piece of the physical world is a portion of the larger painting, where the absolute is silently known.
From our minds, where our reality is processed, if we were looking at an alluring desert and the next minute, before our eyes, hundreds of tents were erected and people were living in these tents without their essential needs, we would see poverty. This is how it would look from the physical mind's point of view. The desert would still be the desert, the tents would still be tents, and people would still be people, robbed of their essential needs. This could be from either war or a natural disaster.
Our essential needs go beyond food, water, and shelter. The pillars of all humans are love, body, needs, and freedom to do and be what is in our individual hearts' fulfilment of purpose. These unseen pillars of every person can be overlooked when we perceive our physical situation as the cause of our discontentment. This may be our workplace or even a town we wish to leave. The workplace and the town are still going to be what they are. So what area of our life is the real discontentment?
This parting or meeting space between the physical land and the true self is the circulating motion of the mind. When two oceans meet, there is always a mixing of elements. It is by way of our physical nature that we are always in relation to all other things on Earth. This re-echoing of being in relation to everything else forms the patterns of beliefs in the mind's subconscious. This creates the polarities of opposites, such as being bigger than or richer than oneself.
The spark of our own identity is the feeling of aliveness, which stands back from all the currents of Earth and mind to observe its own differences from what is being perceived. That feeling of our own energy of aliveness has the same free choice that all cells have within natural selection to evolve. This little dim electron of aliveness still has the power and push to make us aware of its own principal identity. So imagine how powerful it would become to fully unveil self-aliveness.
CHAPTER 4
The Mechanics of the Mind
Those who have studied how the mind works from a philosophical or quantum physics point of view could be diluted into a string of atoms and electrons living in a pond of consciousness, having an emotional experience of attraction and repulsion. This is the mechanics of our consciousness — the dwelling within our minds. This is true but is also alien to some people's understanding or beliefs of life. So to learn how our own personal lives in our minds work, it is more fun to explore the wonders even though the mechanics are amazing in themselves. The wonders are those uplifting feelings of inspiration we receive from a new understanding that gives us a choice we love. The mechanics of this feeling perfectly match your vibration.
We are entertained by the outside world, whether it is good or bad, and the processing of this entertainment goes on in our minds. This processing gives us feelings of either good or bad experiences. Each emotion is named for recognition of the way we feel and how we communicate the way we feel. Even these names themselves are labelled by the polarity of good and bad in our beliefs. Our feelings are our guidance of all things moving through our lives, and this polarity is a bridge that all must pass over to be judged.
Once the understanding of the mechanics of our minds becomes the forefront of our reasoning minds, the words "good" and "bad" will change to "matching" or "not matching," with regard to our own vibration.
Our beliefs stay in the subconscious from childhood. Our beliefs, whether good or bad, are placed upon all thoughts, words, and images, and this is our reality. Our subconscious accepts all beliefs of our reality without any evidence needed. That sounds wonderful, unless the beliefs we have of ourselves are holding us back from reaching our dreams. This is where it is important to recognise within your own beliefs the courage and trust you can have in yourself. There is no difference between when we taught our subconscious to swim and when we taught it to play a guitar. All our beliefs are on auto pilot, as are our bodies.
Our invisible thinking world enters the physical by feelings felt all through our bodies. And what are our bodies made of? Cells. So every cell in your body is feeling exactly the same emotion. We all prefer our microcosmic world of cells to be in perfect health, just as we prefer to be happy in our minds. Our feelings are our loudest voice of guidance. Leaning to recognise the true self, who has the power to control these feelings, is exactly how we can change our lives.
All this thinking passing through our minds does not have any effect on our feelings until we give attention to a thought. This attention holds the thought in our circulating current of subconscious, which is full of our beliefs. Than zap goes our live current, sparking the emotion into motion. That particular emotion then becomes the domineering current of the mind and body. All thoughts will then follow this rhythm of thinking. This domineering current comes into the physical feeling in our bodies from exactly the emotion that was zapped by our belief in the thought. Any thought held long enough will become your reality.
