This illustrative, self-directed educational tool disseminates essential information to veterinary students, interns, and residents in training as well as small animal practitioners with specific interests in orthopedics, canine sports medicine, and rehabilitative medicine. In response to feedback provided by readers of the original text, references have been provided for each question, allowing readers the opportunity to delve more deeply into the topic of focus.
The book includes contributions from an international group of clinicians and investigators. Orthopedic surgeons, radiologists, internists, pathologists, neurologists, and anesthetists as well as veterinarians engaged in rehabilitative medicine have provided their diverse expertise and experience to make this text a comprehensive review of the expanding fields relating to small animal orthopedics.

Informazioni sull’autore
Dan Lewis is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons, a former President of the Veterinary Orthopedic Society and the recipient of the 2012 World Small Animal Veterinary Association-Hill’s Pet Mobility Award. He has authored or co-authored over 150 peer-reviewed publications. His special interests include musculoskeletal traumatology, fracture management and reconstructive orthopedic surgery with a focus on the utilization of circular and hybrid external skeletal fixation for fracture stabilization, deformity correction and limb salvage procedures.
Sorrel Langley-Hobbs is a Professor in Small Animal Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Bristol. She was awarded the BSAVA Simon Award in 2012 for outstanding contributions in the field of small animal surgery. She is involved in all aspects of canine and feline orthopaedics but she has a particular interest in feline orthopaedics. She has published widely on various orthopaedics topics, and she has co-edited a textbook on Feline Orthopaedic Surgery and Musculoskeletal Disease in 2009 and Feline Soft Tissue and General Surgery in 2013. She is regularly invited to talk on orthopaedic topics to vets both in the UK and abroad. Current research interests include fractures of the feline patella and feline osteoporosis.

Returns Policy
We ask all customers to contact us for authorisation should they wish to return their order. Orders returned without authorisation may not be credited.
If you wish to return, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order to obtain authorisation.
Returns requested beyond this time will not be authorised.
Our team will provide full instructions on how to return your order and once received our returns department will process your refund.
Please note the cost to return any unwanted order to us is borne by the buyer.
Should your order arrive damaged, not as advertised or faulty, we must be advised of this within 14 days of delivery. Please contact us so we can find the best solution for you.

Effetti del recesso

Il termine è rispettato se rispedisci i beni prima della scadenza del periodo di 14 giorni. I costi diretti della restituzione dei beni saranno a tuo carico. Sei responsabile solo della diminuzione del valore dei beni risultante da una manipolazione diversa da quella necessaria per stabilire la natura, le caratteristiche e il funzionamento dei beni stessi.
Eccezioni al diritto di recesso
