Riassunto:

Mehta and Wee, both professors in the Department of Social Work and Psychology at the National University of Singapore, compile work by Singaporean scholars for presentation in this reader especially for Singaporean first-year undergraduates in social work. Contributors offer an overview of social work and the social service system in Singapore. Practitioners in other countries will gain insight on how developments in Singapore can inform social work practice elsewhere. The book is distributed in the US by ISBS.
