A tale of Indian legend, high adventure, and love. Intriguing to the last page. Definitely a book you'll not soon forget. "SONG OF THE LOON gave me a better insight into the assault on man's psyche and soul that was the Vietnam War. I have never been taken with war stories, but this story of a naive Montana ranch boy torn from inside by loss of his ideals, his integrity and his love is larger. It is not a neatly tied package, and offers no final answer. We are left with the ragged edges of a man, living on memories of love and on the edges of hope. As I closed the book, I went to my husband and held him tighter than I ever had." Cindy Dyson, Author
