Objects moved to bizarre locations, premonitions about loved ones and messages from the recently departed have, despite initial scepticism, finally forced her to acknowledge that she has a heightened spiritual awareness, that she is being communicated with from beyond and most comfortingly that she is being watched over, just as the Bible promised. After all, not a sparrow falls.

C M Bailey was born and spent her early years in the South Northants village of Badby. It was very beautiful and unspoilt on the edge of the Fawsley estate. The then owners were the Knightly family, who had owned the estate for hundreds of years. Sir Charles and Lady Knightly allowed the villagers access to the parkland, lakes and woods. They were greatly privileged. A lifetime love of nature and her creatures was gifted to the villagers by this generous family. Bailey's love and concern for humanity was reinforced by her nursing career, two years orthopaedic training at Manfield, Northampton, and a four-year comprehensive general training course at the Leicester Royal Infirmary.
