Lala Stewart always knew she wanted to run away with the circus. She just didn't realize that it would include murder and witches.

For years, Lala has lived, worked, and practiced for nothing but her chance to fly high above the crowds. So when the Clear Light Circus needs a fill-in flyer, it seems like a dream come true, especially when she meets her attractive new partner, Alessandro Almodovar.

But everything at the circus is weirder than she thought. A Mr. Dark-wannabe ringmaster? Oh, yeah. Animal acts which interact with humans without leashes or cages and seem unreasonably self-aware? Yep. And that says nothing of the fact that she finds out she's now living in the Murder Trailer.

For Alessandro, her arrival is unwelcome. After weeks of trying to investigate the previous deaths and disappearances at the circus for Supernatural Oversight, the last thing he needs is another girl flyer to look after, especially one he's much too attracted to. He already has his hands full with flirty ghosts, suspicious wolves, and backwoods townies who seem a little too interested in who might get murdered next.

But neither of them gets a break, as the accidents and clues keep piling up. Now, together, they're going to have to figure out who's behind the deaths and stop them, before the next accident proves fatal--or they might find out that they're the ones falling without a net.
