There is wear around the edges and corners of the book; the jacket has sun fading and scratching and there is tattering around the edges and corners with multiple tears and missing pieces; the back cover flap has tape repair.

Uncle Hugo's started in 1974 and Uncle Edgar's in 1980 in different store fronts. Both stores moved into a much larger location in 1984. Rioters burned that location to the ground on May 30, 2020, wiping out over $1 million in books. In August, 2022 we reopened a new brick-and-mortar store at 2716 E. 31st St., about 2 miles east of our old location.
