Stitches and Fractures contains so many feelings and sights for the reader, some you may even recognize. From the feeling of being strapped to a stretcher going 65 m.p.h. through an asylum to showing you the dark and gritty side of society. Thoughts and scenarios taken straight from the psychiatrists note pad. Internal observations about life while being locked into the seat of a carnival fun house ride. Writings that expose the fact that anyone can go a little crazy sometimes and all it takes is just a little push. At times, humor is used in order to keep the head above water and the sun in our skies. Hiding in between the pieces of memories of youth are shots of writing motivation for fellow writers and readers. Encouragement to ‘write it down’ and ‘let it out’ snakes its way throughout the pages. In keeping with the structure of his first poetry book, with subjects and writing styles that are all over the place, Stitches and Fractures makes the perfect closure to the Authors poetry series.
