It’s been nearly a decade since Castle first began the series for his daughter, who had become bedridden due to illness. In that time his loveable and unique characters have journeyed through an unimaginable world of wonder, terror and true imagination.
In this final installment, combat pilot George Stapleton awakens back home after a four-year slumber. His wife, daughter, and new neighbors (who all seem vaguely familiar) try to convince him that the snarky hologram The Leftenant, the gargoyle butler Cheeves, and the assassin-fan girl Sgt. Harper, were little more than figments of his imagination. And the fantastical, upside-down world that is known as Stranger World was nothing more than a coma-induced dream.
But was it?
“Filled with twists and turns and the strange and bizarre that we have come to expect from the fantastic futuristic world created by Jack Castle, Stranger Dream is a fitting end to this unparalleled saga.”
-Joe Butler, Spokesman Review
“Sick daughter inspires writer to create “Stranger World”, which has often been described as Westworld meets Alice in Wonderland.”
-Kaye Thornbrugh, Coeur D’Alene Press
(5.0 out of 5 Stars)
“For those of you who haven't started the Stranger World series, I highly recommend you do so today! My daughter and I started the series together when she was ten and have been reading the series for the last four years. Even my mom (66) is hooked on the series, so it literally has something for everybody and with no foul language to boot! Some people like to start with the prequel, "Stranger Origins" but personally, I like starting with Stranger World and not knowing all the secrets in advance, then Stranger Realm, then Stranger Tides and I just read Stranger Desert in one sitting. According to the author's facebook page, the next book (climax) is coming out in October of this year so I'm going to go back to the beginning (stranger origins) and find all the Easter eggs I may have missed.”

(5.0 out of 5 Stars) OUT OF THIS WORLD!
"Jack Castle’s final installment of Stranger World is out of this world! This last chapter of the saga is a nod to of all of the best loved characters and moments of the series all rolled up in a spectacular finish. However, anyone who has been to Stranger World knows this can’t be the end! Looking forward to the upcoming spin off series!"
-Amazon
“My copy of "Stranger World" is soiled with the literary goodness of dog-eared pages, adorned with coffee stains and snack particles, these from reading through the chapters time and again. The characters become your close companions, you are there with them as they navigate through the dark and savage corners of this Stranger World. Enter Stranger World and experience it for yourself. Great read!”

Descrizione dello Store
We first started out as “The Paperback Exchange,” a chain of physical bookstores where we would part exchange your beloved books for new stories to transport you to faraway places. However, as shopping started to evolve to online shops and marketplaces, we bid our stores goodbye to become “PBShop.” This transition has only allowed us to blossom as we now ship thousands of titles to book lovers across the globe. We pride ourselves in being a community of local book lovers which allows our passion and devotion to shine in everything we do. In 2020 we not only celebrated our 20th birthday but our 1st birthday as being completely employee owned after becoming an E.O.T in September 2019. We are proud to be different and embrace standing apart on a book mountain by working from a virtual inventory which allows us to provide thousands of books that may be difficult to get for your bookshelf or your studies. Working with a number of different suppliers allows us to explore other avenues such as puzzles, sheet music and even stationery so we really do have something for everyone. Life is about being versatile in all realms of existence. If this is your first visit or you are a returning customer, we would like to welcome you to the PBShop family, for there is no friend as loyal as a book.
