Fortnite meets The Avengers in this epically awesome adventure. Twelve-year-old Teddy Habib is recruited to join a league of other gamers to save the world from a huge bug that's infecting longtime gamers and beginners alike, from the creative brains of gaming star Nick Eh 30 and bestselling author E.C. Myers!

Twelve-year-old Teddy Habib dreams of being a pro gamer. He just never expected he'd end up in the big leagues. And no, not the big esports competitions, like NickEh30. Big leagues as in if he doesn't win this game, the world as we know it is doomed.

After a mysterious new game developer accidentally unleashes a bug that's affecting EVERYONE in the world—seasoned gamers and beginners alike—and turning them into the “Glitched,” the government's Special Forces division recruits Teddy; his best friend, Stackz; his loyal and surprisingly cuddly German Shepherd, Rocco; the indomitable Tina Terror; and agility wiz Keke Clutch to infiltrate the game and take back the planet.

But if the Stream Team fails . . . well, it's GAME OVER.

The Stream Team: Battle Squad is the first book in an epic new series by pro Fortnite streamer NickEh30 and award-winning author E.C. Myers. With stunning chapter header illustrations by renowned artist Ronaldo Barata (known for his cover work with Five Nights at Freddy's and interior art of Afro Unicorn: The Land of Afronia), this series opener is action-packed, tons of fun, and definitely NOT a glitch in the system. Plus, it's perfect for fans of Dustin Brady (Trapped in a Video Game and Escape from a Video Game), Andrea Towers (Gamer Girls), E.C. Myers's own work with RWBY and Five Night's at Freddy's, and of course, gamers who love Minecraft, Battlefront, Apex Legends, Overwatch, Halo, Call of Duty, and Super Smash Bros.
