Unlike industrial loads, which are balanced and follow fixed patterns, household loads are increasingly non-linear due to electronic devices and inverter technology. This leads to harmonic disturbances in the power system. The proposed system aims to implement a Shunt Active Power Filter using the PI technique to mitigate harmonics and noise from non-linear, unbalanced, and mixed loads.
