Riassunto

Satan is real. Demons are real. Spiritual warfare is real. But the final word does not belong to darkness.

In The Doctrine of Satan, Demons, and Spiritual Rebellion, Jeff C. Edwards examines what the Bible teaches about the unseen realm, spiritual deception, false worship, and the victory of Christ.

This is not a book of superstition, fear, sensational stories, or invented spiritual techniques. It is a Scripture-governed study that takes spiritual evil seriously while refusing to go beyond what God has revealed.

Inside, you will examine:

• Satan as the adversary, tempter, liar, accuser, serpent, dragon, and deceiver of the nations
• Fallen angels, demons, possession, affliction, and human responsibility
• False prophets, doctrines of devils, counterfeit spirituality, and spiritual deception
• Sorcery, divination, mediumship, occult practices, Satanism, and false worship
• The danger of occult curiosity, spiritual fear, and obsession with darkness
• The whole armour of God, prayer, watchfulness, submission to God, and resisting the devil
• Biblical discernment, testing spiritual claims, and avoiding false deliverance methods
• Satan’s coming judgment and the final triumph of Jesus Christ

This volume also answers difficult practical questions:

• Can a believer be demon possessed?
• Are generational curses biblical?
• Should Christians fear curses, occult objects, territorial spirits, or hidden demonic influence?
• What does biblical deliverance actually look like?
• How should believers test spiritual claims?
• What does it mean to stand against the devil without becoming fearful or sensational?

Edwards warns against three common errors: denying spiritual evil, living in fear of it, or becoming fascinated with darkness. Scripture calls believers to neither ignore Satan nor become preoccupied with him. The Christian is called to remain grounded in Christ, governed by Scripture, strengthened through prayer, guarded by truth, and established in the fellowship of the church.

Satan is active, but he is not sovereign. Demons are hostile, but they are creatures under Christ’s authority and headed for judgment. Christ has conquered through the cross, risen from the grave, reigns above every principality and power, keeps His people, and will bring them into a kingdom where deception, accusation, death, and rebellion will never rise again.

Part of the 24-volume Systematic Theology — Scripture Defines Scripture series, this book stands as a substantial independent study of demonology and spiritual warfare while also serving as an essential volume in a larger Scripture-centered theological library.

Consequences of the revocation

If you revoke this contract, we shall repay all the payments, which we received from you, including the delivery costs (with the exception of additional costs, which arise from that fact that you selected a form of delivery other than the most reasonable standard delivery offered by us), immediately and at the latest within 14 days from the day on which we received the notification about the revocation of this contract from you. Criteria for exclusion or expiry

The revocation right is not available for contracts

for delivery of products, which are not prefabricated and for whose manufacturing an individual selection or stipulation by the consumer is important or which are clearly tailored to the personal requirements of the consumer;
for delivery of products, which can spoil quickly or whose use-by date would be exceeded quickly;
for delivery of alcoholic drinks, whose price was agreed at the time of concluding the contract, which however can be delivered 30 days after the conclusion of the contract at the earliest and whose current value depends on the fluctuations in the market, on which the entrepreneur has no influence;
for delivery of newspapers, periodicals or magazines with the exception of subscription contracts. The revocation right expires prematurely in case of contracts
for delivery of sealed products, which are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene if their seal has been removed after the delivery;
for delivery of products if they have been mixed inseparably with other goods after the delivery, owing to their condition;
for delivery of sound or video recording or computer software in a sealed package if the seal has been removed after the delivery.
