A particularly nice copy, in original publisher's binding, of this early American drawing book, treating the contrast of light and shade as well as color. SCHIMMELMAN, AMERICAN IMPRINTS ON ART 259. DREPPERD, AMERICAN DRAWING BOOKS, p.17. Original publisher's green cloth, stamped in blind, spine gilt. Binding lightly rubbed, stained, and soiled. Internally clean and bright. Contemporary bookplate of Benjamin H. Lane to front pastedown. Very good.…
