After surviving a motor vehicle crash, you will feel so overwhelmed and your recovery journey will be unlike anything you have ever experienced before. It will be difficult and you will need support. You may feel alone and will have so many questions that you may not even know where to start. “What Should I Do After a Crash? “What is a Personal Injury Lawyer?” “What If I Don’t Seek Medical Treatment?” “What Happens When I Finally Go Home to Recover?” “What is an Independent Medical Examination?” “Will It Get Easier?” “How Long Will My Recovery Take?” You will need to hear from another crash survivor that has felt the same emotions and had the exact same questions.

"Talk Crash to Me" is written by a survivor of a horrific motor vehicle crash who shares her personal experiences post-crash and what to expect as you recover from a motor vehicle crash. "It’s not just about surviving the crash as it’s much more than that. Recovery can take months and possibly years." Where does a survivor find hope when they are left to face a life-changing incident that carries so many struggles? How do survivors feel less alone and move forward? Crash survivors want their lives back and this book offers a template outlining what to expect after a crash, and how to manage physically, emotionally and legally.

S. Dawne McKay explains how important it is to practice self love and to take it one step at a time – one day a time. Dawne beautifully describes her own recovery as a crash survivor and includes helpful tips and advice. "It’s a long road to recovery and survivors need to realize that they are not alone. There are hundreds of thousands of people just like you who are all trying to navigate their road to recovery and Talk Crash to Me is a book that I wish someone had handed to me when I began my recovery."

Nothing can prepare you for the challenges you are about to face and my hope is that every crash survivor finds my book, "Talk Crash to Me" an informative easy-read and most importantly, that every crash survivor understands that they are not alone in their recovery journey.“

"In my 25 years as an Occupational Therapist working with clients who have sustained complex injuries due to motor vehicle accidents, it inspires me when one of our clients makes it their mission to help others by sharing their own difficult journey. This book is a must-read for all those who suffer from injuries and sequelae from a motor vehicle accident. Dawne beautifully describes her experience as a survivor and outlines the valuable insights, tips and strategies that she learned through her journey to recovery. I highly recommend "Talk Crash to Me" to all survivors and health care professionals."

Dawne McKay draws from her own personal experiences to offer clear guidance, practical advice and above all, support, inspiration and hope for those that have been seriously injured because of a car crash.
