She hosts the syndicated internet radio show, “Healing the Grieving Heart,” and was a recent guest on ABC’s 20/20.Dr. Heidi is an Adjunct Professor at Columbia University School of Social Work and is a therapist and researcher for the FDNY/Columbia University Family Program, a study providing ongoing intervention to families of firefighters killed in the World Trade Center. She also conducts workshops with 9/11 bereaved siblings. In addition, she presents numerous seminars throughout the country, and facilitates annual workshops at National Compassionate Friends Conferences. Dr. Heidi is the co-author of the forthcoming book The Eric Hipple Story: Men’s Depression, Real Men Do Cry Gloria C.
