The story is set in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, a city that generally languishes in obscurity even as it is known worldwide for its musical prowess and hit records. The people are for the most part good hearted simple people with the same issues that all humans living on this earth must deal with...especially those starting out in the world.
Have you ever needed a mentor? Do you remember finishing school and feeling overwhelmed, not knowing what to do next? One summer, I was fortunate enough to meet Coach. I knew little about him, other than he was a great tennis player.
My friends and I needed guidance, and Coach was willing to give us what he had. We later learned that what Coach had was perspective. And what we didn't know, was how a change in perspective could change our world forever.
