Originally published in 1904. This book is a compilation of chapters on working terriers contained in the author's book "With Hound and Terrier in the Field." She hunted with the Garth and the H.H., but later in life she spent many years out with the Blackmore Vale. Terriers, however, were her real love, and she was an expert on the subject. She kept a pack of these small sporting dogs and with them hunted anything from Rats to Otters. This well illustrated book contains much advice and anecedote on the use of early working terriers.
