Riassunto:
The 55 chapters of this new edition (the last appeared in 1999) are organized according to the three main steps of a neurologist's everyday diagnosis and treatment: neuroanatomical localization and syndromes, neurodiagnostic tools, and etiological categories of neurological diseases. A table of contents precedes each chapter, and the myriad chapter subdivisions aid searching. The included CD- ROM contains the complete text as well as numerous videotape examples of disorders, interactive clinical exercises keyed to each chapter, and a search engine. Most of the contributors represent US institutions; Goetz is affiliated with the Department of Neurological Sciences at Chicago's Rush University.
