She had a system. A daughter. A job she'd built from scratch.
What she didn't have was room for anything that could disrupt all three.
Mia Chen-Torres has spent seven years at NovaByte building something real — a career, a routine, and a carefully calibrated life as a single mother in San Francisco's Outer Sunset. Her system works. Every minute is accounted for. There is no room for error, and absolutely no room for her new boss.
When a corporate acquisition installs Enzo Ricci as the head of her division — complete with a return-to-office mandate that threatens to collapse everything she's built — Mia has sixty days to decide: adapt, fight back, or find the door.
What she doesn't plan for is the late nights. The Marchetti campaign. The way he looks at her work like it matters. The jacket left over her shoulders at midnight and the coffee that appears on her desk with no note.
Enzo has his own rules. Chief among them: never use a professional position for personal reasons. He has held that line for fifteen years.
He is starting to understand why it was never tested before.
Three Days a Week is a slow-burn, enemies-to-lovers contemporary romance about two people who are very good at their jobs, very bad at admitting what they want, and completely unprepared for each other.
Features: Boss/employee tension · Age gap (16 years) · Single mom heroine · Forced proximity · Slow burn with a guaranteed HEA · Open-door heat · San Francisco setting
