Paperback. Ember has never made a choice of her own. A nineteen-year-old mixed-fae shapeshifter, she has spent her life hidden inside a dormant volcano, bound by her mother's magical compulsion and helping rescue refugees from the tyrannical kingdom of Boravia. Freedom has always been just beyond her reach. Then she breaks the spell. When Ember falls for Torren, an elven prince she believes is an ally, she discovers that trust can be as dangerous as magic. As betrayal unravels everything she thought she knew, Ember learns she is more than a hidden shapeshifter. She is the heir to a forgotten legacy, a wielder of all four elements, and the one person a ruthless king will stop at nothing to possess. Hunted across kingdoms and forced to choose between love, loyalty, and the future of an entire world, Ember must decide whether she will remain the pawn others expect. or become the leader no one saw coming. The Thrice-Bound Heir is the first book in The Flamebound Series, a character-driven romantasy featuring fae magic, slow-burn romance, political intrigue, found family, and a heroine who discovers that true power begins with the freedom to choose. The Thrice-Bound Heir
Book One of The Flamebound Series
Everyone wants Ember to become something for them.
A hidden daughter. A political prize. A weapon. A symbol. An heir.
No one asks what she wants.
Raised in secrecy by a mother determined to keep her alive, Ember has spent her entire life hiding. But when the truth of her bloodlines begins to surface, she is thrust into a world of rival kingdoms, ancient magic, and dangerous expectations she never agreed to carry.
One prince teaches her to fight and makes her believe she has finally found someone she can trust.
Another sees a strength in her long before she can see it in herself.
One will betray her.
The other may change everything.
Now kings covet her power, a pixie queen names her heir, a growing army looks to her for leadership, and a broken people call her their hope.
As enemies close in and the foundations of everything she believed begin to crack, Ember discovers a terrifying truth: the power everyone seeks to control may be far greater than anyone realizes.
Including her.
Now she must decide whether she will continue living as the person others need her to be... or become the woman she chooses to be for herself.
