A journey seen through the eyes of a child.
From trains that go zoom to castles that touch the sky, Saúl explores a world filled with wonder, curiosity, and small unforgettable moments.
What begins as a simple trip quickly becomes something more. Through new places, new sounds, and new experiences, Saúl discovers that the world is larger-and more magical-than he imagined. Whether running ahead through busy streets, watching the sea crash against the shore, or holding onto the quiet comfort of familiar things, each moment becomes part of something he will carry with him long after the journey ends.
Told in a voice that is simple, honest, and full of life, Trains and Castles captures the way children experience the world-not through analysis, but through presence. Through excitement, curiosity, and feeling, even the smallest moments become meaningful.
This is not just a story about travel.
It is a story about discovery.
It is about seeing the world for the first time-and realizing that the memories we create along the way are often the ones that matter most.
Trains and Castles is part of a larger family journey told alongside The Tracks Remember, where the same trip unfolds through reflection, memory, and meaning.
Together, these two books offer two ways of experiencing the same adventure:
one through the thoughts of a parent,
and the other through the moments of a child.
One remembers.
The other lives it.
