1941. Almost all of Europe is under the Nazi heel. Great Britain still holds out, but the situation worsens with every passing day. And in North Africa, gateway to the Middle East and its immense oil reserves, Rommel now threatens Egypt, keystone of British defences. In those desperate times, three men (David Stirling, Blair Mayne and ‘Jock' Lewes), three unconventional officers, band together to create a small, elite unit that will become a military legend: the SAS.

Vincent Brugeasholds both a passion for and a degree in history. Two of his series – alternate history saga Block 109and the critically acclaimed Le Roy des Ribauds– have garnered much interest and praise. Thomas Legrain, after studying history and criminology, became a self-taught artist – not entirely surprising from the great nephew of BD legend Jijé– and produced no less than 19 volumes in 12 years, including series Sisco,as well as L'Agenceand Mortelle Rivierawith Bartoll(Insiders).
