Whether elegies, love poems, or lyrics of wild imagining, these poems are marked by tenderness and compassion, even when the difficult or brutal is acknowledged.

Rafaella Del Bourgo's writing has been widely published in the United States, England, Canada, and Australia, and won many awards including: the Alan Ginsberg Poetry Award, the Paumanok Poetry Award, the New Millennium Prize, the Mudfish Poetry Prize, and the Terry J.
