Paperback. In this work of Christian fiction, author Anna J. Small Roseboro poses a dilemma, "How does one prioritize love?" Society views Christians by their walk, and how they act, more than by their talk. While the observers may not be able to quote Scripture, they do know how they'd hope to be treated if they were in the position of the characters in this story. When people are confronted with behavior or news about something or someone that is frowned upon by society or their religious teaching, they are challenged, based on their relationship with those involved, to consider or reflect on the impact their responses have, will or have had on the people involved.Recent Review: I've just finished Two, One.Now Three. I have to say your own compassionate understanding and your encouragement of the same in your readers pour through. I could identify with some of the characters' dilemmas, which the book doesn't pretend to solve-Claude's calling at the end, serves as a Christian sort of deus ex machina, which removes without resolving the conflicts-but it (the book) does promote, throughout, the attitude of kindness and attention to the Lord in dealing with them. I had some doubts about the premises of the situation that Louis and Claude brought into being, but the evocation of Lillian's experience is the best part of the book. Congratulations! Society views Christians by their walk, and how they act, more than by their talk. While the observers may not be able to quote Scripture, they do know how they’d hope to be treated if they were in the position of the characters in this story.
When people are confronted with behavior or news about something or someone that is frowned upon by society or their religious teaching, they are challenged, based on their relationship with those involved, to consider or reflect on the impact their responses have, will or have had on the people involved.
