Dust jacket condition: Near Fine: striking elongated "U" in sliver gilt and L in blue to title letters. The front flap states: "The complete and unabridged text, now corrected and entirely reset. .this new edition contains the original foreword by the author, the historic decision by Judge John M Woolsey whereby the Federal ban on Ulysses was finally removed, and a foreword by Morris Ernst". Jacket design by E McKnight Kauffer. The rear flap refers to The Modern Library and to its 20th century authors from Auden to Warren. Not price clipped (no price printed).
