This handbook contains 62 conversion charts, covering virtually every field of scientific endeavour. The charts are based on values published by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI), the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). The charts make a clear distinction between SI and other metric units by showing SI units in red boxes. Official symbols of SI units are given, along with the name of the unit. For dimensional analysis, the charts show the dimensions of units in terms of SI units.
