When a high-flying financier has an encounter he is unable to explain on a deserted, night-time road, he is horrified to discover his mind changing and inexplicable information pouring through him. Reality starts slipping away in the battle to suppress a knowledge that has altered his relationship with the universe. But the universe has no mercy, and what he is not willing to accept will make itself seen - even at the expense of his wrecked sanity.

A story that dives between realities and manifestations of existence, this expertly crafted and genre-bending novel invites discussion and rewards multiple readings. The Unity Game is literary fiction at its most thought-provoking and ambitious.

Leonora Meriel grew up in London, UK, but draws much of her inspiration from her years living in Ukraine, where she was co-founder of Ukraine's largest bookshop and publishing platform and a part of the campaign to make Ukraine the most read country in Europe. Her debut novel The Woman Behind the Waterfall, is set in western Ukraine and is a celebration of Ukrainian culture, language and custom. Her novel And Breathe centers on a Ukrainian oligarch and her latest novel Mbaquana Nights explores Ukrainian immigration at the end of the nineteenth century. Her work has been hailed as "strange and beautiful" by writer Esther Freud, "ambitious and thought-provoking" by Kirkus Reviews, and "a classic work of art" by Richmond Magazine.
