Thank you so much for using the OVERCOMER’S BOOK GROUP AND PRAYER JOURNAL, companion to Walking Through FIRE. You have made a wise decision. The book’s richness needs to be soaked up and the Overcomer’s Journal is designed for immersing yourself deep in the waters of God’s peace, love, and joy. With it we will find comfort and revelation. Walking Through FIRE is meant to be shared with your most cherished and trusted relationships. And it is meant to help you develop more trusted relationships with those who have the capacity to share your journey. That is how deep meaningful relationships are formed. We must share one another’s lives. Our burdens. And our triumphs. There is no closer friend than one who walks with you in both seasons of defeat and seasons of victory. And those friends are rare. So let’s get started forming them now. Let’s walk through fire together. To get started I suggest that you read with at least one other trusted friend, preferably a person with whom you are able to vent and be completely vulnerable. As you are reading, begin to plan who you would like to have come together to form an Overcomer’s Book Group. It is important to be able to share secret hurts and deep thoughts while reading for complete healing of the soul with this group. The Overcomer’s Journal includes suggested book group guidelines and questions. I would strongly advise book groups of no more than 8-11 people. Also, remember to unite in prayer asking the Holy Spirit for revelation, guidance, and healing each time you read this book and in each book group gathering. Each chapter speaks to specific needs and has a completely different purpose of ministering while you are Walking Through FIRE. Some chapters and passages may take more time and of course, the group may choose completely different passages of the book to delve into. Encourage members of the Overcomer’s Group to stretch. Savor each sentence. The group may determine to gather more often or to start other Overcomer’s Groups after the experience with Walking Through Fire. The Overcomer’s Journal includes: *Book Group Guidelines *Overarching Questions to Spark the Discussion *Suggested Passages and Questions per Chapter to Spark Discussion *Space to Journal the Journey with Thoughts and Prayers If you do not have a friend who will read the book together with you at this time, make sure you stay connected with me online at drlisaministries.org. I want to be present with you on your journey, to connect with you at eye level. I am sharing my Walk Through FIRE, for I hope that the Holy Spirit can use it to minister to your life. My own fire experience will be much more worth it if I know that it helps you. I pray the transparency and vulnerability in the pages in this book encourage you and give you revelation in areas of need. Even though we have yet to meet, I pray for you right now, that God would put this book in your hands and give you supernatural strength to make you an overcomer. Allow Walking Through Fire to be a literary treasure you return to often.
