With separate title-pages, each dated 1660 for each part. Full contemporary calf. boards ruled in blind. Black morocco spine label, lettered in gilt. Top edge dyed brown, others speckled red. Title is hand-lettered in ink on fore-edge. Some minor repairs to joints and hinges. With newer endpapers. The final leaf with a tear at outer, lower corner, just touching the catchword. Previous owner's armorial bookplate on blank verso of general title-page. Overall a very good copy. Provenance: Bookplate of Thomas Hamilton (1721-1794), 7th Earl of Haddington, engraved armorial bookplate on verso of title; thence by descent to the Earls of Haddington. "A popular handbook such as A Way to get Wealth, used in farmhouse, field and kitchen must have received a great deal of ill-usage and it is not surprising that so few copies of the various editions have survived".
