Two large hardbacks in half leather. 613 pages and 540 pages plus The Art of Writing 111 pages plus Treatise on Shorthand 11 pages plus plates. 5 raised bands, gilt titles and gilt tooled decoration to spines. Marbled end papers and edges of text blocks. Considerable wear to covers, particularly along the leather edges. Some scattered foxing.
