The UK adapting lead author Hubert McPhillips is a Consultant specialising in Fabrication and Welder Training and is currently Managing Director at Generic Education Training Services Limited. Hugh has 35 years teaching experience in fabrication, welding, heating & ventilation, and mechanical engineering and has previously worked as Curriculum and Workshop Manager at college of North West London.
Lawrence Bower is a qualified Welding Inspector and Educator, teaching at Blackhawk Technical College, an AWS SENSE School in Wisconsin. His background as an aerospace welder in the US Navy plus fourteen years at United Airlines make him a valuable contributor to the book.
