Informazioni sull’autore
Amytis Towfighi, MD, received her bachelor degree from MIT and her MD from Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. She completed her internship and residency at Harvard; she completed internship at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) and Neurology Residency at MGH and Brigham and Women’s Hospital. She completed her Vascular Neurology fellowship at UCLA. She is currently an associate professor of neurology at the Keck School of Medicine, University of Southern California (USC). Dr. Towfighi is Director of Neurological Services for the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services. She is also Associate Medical Director and Chief of Neurological Services at Los Angeles County + USC Medical Center. She served as Chair of Neurology at Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center for eleven years.
LauraStevens, MSci, received her master’sdegree in nutrition science from the Department of Nutrition Science at PurdueUniversity in West Lafayette, Indiana. Since graduation, she had worked atPurdue as a researcher who investigated the relationship between diet and healthdisorders. As an author of nine successful books on diet, behavior, andallergies, Laura now deals with low vision herself. She lives with her amazingcats, Bentley and Seis, in Lafayette, Indiana.

Il periodo di recesso scade dopo 14 giorni dal giorno in cui tu o una terza parte, diversa dal vettore e da te indicata, acquisisce il possesso fisico dell'ultimo bene o dell'ultimo lotto o pezzo.
Per esercitare il diritto di recesso, compila e invia elettronicamente una dichiarazione esplicita sul nostro sito Web, alla voce “I miei acquisti” nella sezione “Mio account”. Ti comunicheremo senza indugio una conferma di ricezione di tale recesso su un supporto durevole (ad es. via e-mail).

Effetti del recesso

Eseguiremo il rimborso senza indebito ritardo e non oltre 14 giorni dal giorno in cui saremo informati della tua decisione di recedere dal presente contratto.

Il termine è rispettato se rispedisci i beni prima della scadenza del periodo di 14 giorni. I costi diretti della restituzione dei beni saranno a tuo carico. Sei responsabile solo della diminuzione del valore dei beni risultante da una manipolazione diversa da quella necessaria per stabilire la natura, le caratteristiche e il funzionamento dei beni stessi.
Eccezioni al diritto di recesso
Il diritto di recesso non si applica a:
- La fornitura di giornali, periodici o riviste ad eccezione dei contratti di abbonamento; e
- La fornitura di contenuto digitale non fornito su un supporto materiale (ad es. su un CD o DVD), se al momento dell'invio dell'ordine hai accettato l'inizio dell'esecuzione e hai riconosciuto che non avresti potuto recedere una volta iniziata l'esecuzione.

Books are shipped 1-2 business days following receipt of payment.
Shipping is via USPS Media Mail which takes 4-14 business days for delivery. Buyer pays a standard shipping rate of $3.49 for books and $2.49 for CDs. If a book requires extra shipping, buyer will be notified before sale is finalized.
Shipping costs are based on books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is heavy, oversized, or must be insured we may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required.
